Not just the end of one year. An end to the college education. In a few days, I will be dressed in the cap and gown and sit for many hours as I hear names called out. Some familiar. Most alien to me.
Then it will be my turn. My name will be called and I will finally receive a paper representing four years of struggle, gains, and losses.
I still can't believe it's really happening. There are too many things that I have taken to appreciate more after this semester. People I will miss. Places I will long to see once again. But it happens. We all need to move on.
It will be the next day that will surprise me more than actual graduation day. The next day, I will wake up and believe that my graduation was a dream. Because I still won't believe that I had made it this far into my life. But I have to. I need to if I want to continue pursuing my dreams.
The education is done.
Next, the real world.

Cheers, Anita
